Just wanted to clear something up about this tattoo… Yes I understand it is a sacred symbol, yes it is on my leg. The Om has resonated with me throughout most my life I have always wanted it as a tattoo. Through my initial research I found nothing wrong with placing it on my thigh. I wanted to put it somewhere I could easily conceal or display proudly. I also have friends with the Om on their bodies. THIS WAS NOT MEANT TO BE OFFENSIVE OR DISRESPECTFUL IN ANY MANOR! I did not find out people thought it as so until I posted it here. I am terribly sorry to anybody who has viewed it as such. I respect your culture and your religion, I admire it so much thats why I decided to have it placed on my own body. I am Pagan myself, I believe in a melting pot of pieces of different religions from different cultures… but that’s the rub. Its MY body. Maybe one day when I have the funds I will cover this and place it somewhere less offensive. But for now I will still wear it proudly. Thank you for listening. If you have any negative comments please refrain from sharing. I have already heard them.
